What we keep depends on whether you use DoTarot without an account or sign in.

Without an account

You can read cards and learn without an account. Plus features require sign-in and an active membership. Guest readings you choose to keep, notes, favourite cards, learning progress and daily cards stay only in your browser (localStorage).

With an account

Data created when you visit

• Server logs: our host (Vercel) may log requests such as IP address, browser type, time and page to deliver the site and keep it secure.
• Fonts: pages load fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when the fonts load.
• Usage statistics: the current site may use Vercel Web Analytics for page views without sending private questions or notes. No additional analytics tool was found in the reviewed new-site code.

What we do not collect

We do not store plaintext passwords or payment card numbers. Birth date, time and place are stored only when a Plus member chooses to provide them for personal features.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not send marketing without consent. If we ever ask for consent, it will be separate from the Terms of Service and you can withdraw it at any time (Section 19).

Questions and notes are free text you write yourself, and may reveal personal matters such as health, relationships, beliefs or other people. Some of these are sensitive data under Section 26 of the PDPA.

• We do not ask you for this kind of information, and we do not analyse your text to categorise or profile your health, beliefs or other sensitive traits.
• Readings are composed in your browser from DoTarot's own card-meaning database. Currently no question is sent to any AI service.
• With an account, entries are stored in a database configured so each account can read only its own records. Share images never include your question or notes.
• Entries are not end-to-end encrypted. A database administrator could technically read them when securing or troubleshooting the service.
• Please avoid entering health, belief, ID, full-name or other sensitive details about yourself or others. If you record such information by mistake, you can delete the entry or ask us to help.

When Plus subscriptions open, Stripe processes THB 99 per month. DoTarot does not receive full card numbers. We receive necessary transaction data such as Stripe customer and subscription IDs, payment status, amount, currency, date and reference to manage access and disputes. We use the providers below. Some process data on our behalf (processors); others act as independent controllers when you use your account with them.

We do not share data with others for advertising, and we disclose it to authorities only when the law requires.

DoTarot uses no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use browser storage to remember your settings, keep guest entries, and keep you signed in. Details: Cookies & storage.

• Entries and account data: until you delete them or ask us to close your account.
• Guest data: in your browser until you delete it from Account & data or clear your browser storage.
• Technical logs: for the provider's retention period and as needed for security or legal duties. Contact us for details of logs relating to you.
• Payment records: only as needed for accounting, tax law or disputes, then deleted when no longer needed.
• Backups: we make encrypted database snapshots at least weekly and keep the encrypted files separately from the key in the operator's private storage. We delete them within 30 days, except a specific snapshot needed to resolve an incident or dispute until that need ends. Data deleted from the primary system may remain in a snapshot during that period; a restoration must not reinstate a deleted account.

• Data travels over HTTPS.
• Personal journal and Plus tables use row-level security. The legacy payment table now has RLS enabled and browser-role read access removed.
• The browser holds only a publishable key; no secret key is in the web page.
• Regular users sign in with LINE or Google. A separately provisioned preview administrator can sign in with a password; it is held by Supabase Auth, not stored in the web page.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a risk to you, we will notify the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee within 72 hours where feasible, and notify you if the risk is high, under Section 37(4).

Our Supabase database is in Singapore. Google, LINE, Stripe, Vercel and font providers may also process data outside Thailand. We limit data to the purposes above and consider provider safeguards and transfer terms under applicable law. Contact Sirapop.phuwa@gmail.com for details about transfers involving your data.

ทำได้เองทันทีในหน้า บัญชีและข้อมูล

Under the PDPA you have the right to:

• access and get a copy of your data (Section 30)
• receive or transfer it in a machine-readable format (Section 31)
• object to processing based on legitimate interests (Section 32)
• have it erased, destroyed or anonymised (Section 33)
• have its use restricted (Section 34)
• have it corrected and kept up to date (Sections 35–36)
• withdraw any consent you gave (Section 19)
• complain to the expert committee (Section 73)

Do it yourself now, in Account & data

• Export your data as a JSON file (readings, notes, favourites, learning, daily cards and purchase history).
• Delete a single reading from that reading's page; your account stays.
• Delete all journal and learning data (readings, daily notes, favourites, progress and reports); your account and purchase history stay.
• Change your display name on the same page.
• Delete your whole account and the data linked to it (see the next section).
• Without an account: delete the data on this device from the same page.

For anything else — such as a copy of data not in the export (e.g. sign-in records), restricting use, or objecting — write to Sirapop.phuwa@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 30 days.

You can delete your account yourself in Account & data, after typing a confirmation. When you do:

• Your sign-in account and Google/LINE links are deleted, and this device signs out. Existing access tokens may remain usable until expiry.
• Linked data is deleted: profile, readings, notes, favourites, progress, daily cards, reports and membership status.
• Payment records needed for law or disputes may remain separately, with data limited and deleted when no longer needed.
• During a paid Plus period, you may need to cancel renewal and wait for the paid period to end before deleting the account.
• Pending sync data on this device is cleared.
• Encrypted database snapshots may still contain pre-deletion data for up to 30 days, except a snapshot needed for an incident or dispute. We will check deletion records before a restore so that a deleted account is not reinstated.
• Revoke DoTarot on the Google or LINE side in that provider's account settings.

DoTarot ไม่ได้ออกแบบมาเพื่อเด็ก หากคุณเป็นผู้เยาว์ โปรดใช้บริการโดยได้รับความเห็นชอบจากผู้ใช้อำนาจปกครองตามที่กฎหมายกำหนด และอย่ากรอกข้อมูลอ่อนไหวของตนเองหรือผู้อื่น

DoTarot is not designed for children. If you are a minor, use it with a parent or guardian's agreement where required by law, and avoid entering sensitive details about yourself or others.

When we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you on the site in advance if the change is significant (and by email if we have yours).
